Boost My Self Esteem!

Sooooooo, it has come to my attention lately that I have some stalkers.  I really don't mind.  I like the attention, hence the blog.  However, if you read this blog (which clearly you do since you're reading right now) will you please just throw me a bone and hit follow?  It will help my self esteem:)  If you really want to be my friend leave me some comments!

I then insisted that we take a picture where I hid myself behind my mom because that's just the kind of daughter I am:)

I'm Giving Up My Children For Lent

Today as Christin and I passed a bar with balloons out she wanted to know why they were having a party.  "It's Fat Tuesday" I said.  Of course what followed was a conversation about what Fat Tuesday is and of course what Lent is.  I explained that Lent is the days leading up to Easter in which people will often give up something they enjoy to help them remember how Jesus suffered to die for our sins.  I gave her examples of things people give up.  "Are you giving anything up?" she asked.  "I'm not sure.  Usually I give up candy or soda but since I'm on Weight Watchers I'm not sure if I'll give anything up."  And here is where I quickly decided what to give up:  "I've got it Mom!  You can give up your spare time and do more chores!"  Brilliant, now to find this spare time so I can give it up!

Ignorance Is Bliss

I usually like to be pretty informed about things.  I'm a person that likes to learn and have information.  In fact I spent all day with my email open just hoping for an email with a little info. about something in it.  Nothing time sensitive just an answer to a question I really wanted.  HOWEVER, there are some things in life that I prefer not to have answers to.

1.  What is that on the wall next to the kids beds!?!?!?
2.  How can there be things in the toilet and yet no toilet paper?!?!?!?
3.  How long have those goldfish been there?!?!?!?
4.  What exactly was that food in the Tupperware container?!?!?!?
5.  Poop or mud?!?!?!

I could go on but you would start continue to question my mothering skills.
